Privacy notice

Approved by the Sun Villages Institute board, November 2026.

• What we keep: your name, the village you belong to, a phone number or email if you give one, your Offers and Needs, and your trades.
• Why: to run the exchange. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.
• Who sees what: members of your exchange see your name, your balance, your listings and your trades. Only the concierge sees your phone number and email.
• Children: a child's account is opened by a parent, who can see it.
• The ledger is permanent: trades cannot be deleted, so the balances stay true. If you leave, your account is closed but past trades stay on the record.
• Where it is kept: on Cloudflare's servers, with daily restore points.
• Not kept here: health details, the vulnerable resident register, bank details, shares or investments.
• See or correct your details: ask your concierge.
